The location is super convenient for flights, and the soundproof windows worked well for me. My only issue was the cleanliness in some areas. The bar had a nice happy hour with live sports events, which was a fun touch.

Do not be deceived by location. Upon arrival, frustration set in as the shuttle took over an hour to reach the airport. The hotel is poorly maintained, with a distinct chemical smell and overflowing garbage. Limited breakfast options are misleading; I was charged for a meal that didn’t exist. One elevator was out of service, and cleanliness was lacking. Staff was polite, but that isn’t enough to salvage this disappointing experience. Find another hotel that truly delivers on the services you expect. This one misses the mark drastically.

Spacey room, but the facility felt dated and poorly maintained. The elevator was unsettling, and noise from neighboring rooms was bothersome. The restaurant closure was a letdown, and despite the advertised breakfast, that turned out to be false. The shuttle service was unreliable, leading to extra costs. While the lobby was nicely kept, the room itself had lingering odors and worn bedding.

I found the hotel to be super convenient for exploring the area, as it was just a short drive from several parks and attractions, including the Hapeville Depot Museum and Delta Flight Museum, both less than 5 km away, and only a few minutes from the airport; plus, the friendly staff were a highlight of my stay, always ready to help. While the basic amenities could use some improvement, such as better upkeep of the rooms, the overall experience for weekend wanderers was enjoyable.

The room had an overwhelming smell of smoke, despite being labeled non-smoking. The carpet, drapes, and even the furniture were stained, causing significant discomfort. Broken furniture added to the unwelcoming atmosphere. Temperature control was mediocre, making it hard to find a comfortable setting. Noise levels were inconsistent, disrupting sleep. The bathroom was less than pristine, with remnants from the previous guest visible. Lighting was poor, with several bulbs out. A decent bed could have helped, but the allergies triggered by the smoke made restful sleep nearly impossible. Maintenance needs urgent attention throughout the property.

The outdoor swimming pool is perfect for a refreshing dip on a sunny day! I loved relaxing on the sun loungers, soaking up the atmosphere. The lobby was so inviting and smelled amazing, setting a great tone for my stay.

During our recent stay at the Howard Johnson hotel, we encountered a mix of positives and negatives. The heating in the room was set at a toasty 83 degrees on a hot day in July, which made it quite uncomfortable. The air conditioning seemed to be struggling as well, as the overall temperature in the building felt warm. the AC unit in our room was not working properly, adding to the discomfort. Despite the issues with temperature control, we did appreciate the effort put into providing tea and coffee facilities in the room. It was a nice touch to have the option to make a hot beverage when needed. the lack of an AM/FM alarm clock was inconvenient, especially for those who rely on them to wake up in the morning. The presence of flat-screen TVs in the room was a modern touch, but the overall outdated feel of the hotel was a downer. The walls showed signs of water damage, mold, and peeling wallpaper, giving off a neglected vibe. The room itself had some cleanliness issues, with stains on the sheets and a musty smell throughout. the hotel did offer room service, which could be convenient for a quick meal. the lack of shops or commercial services on-site meant limited options for any additional needs. The laundry facilities could also use an upgrade, as they seemed outdated and not well-maintained. Regarding transportation, there was an airport shuttle service available, which was a nice perk for travelers looking for convenience. Unfortunately, the quality of the shuttle did not make up for the other shortcomings of the hotel. while there were a few highlights like the tea and coffee facilities and the option for room service, the overall experience at Howard Johnson was overshadowed by the issues with temperature control, cleanliness, and outdated amenities.

I tried to enjoy the grab and go breakfast. It was such a lovely surprise to find nothing there after all! What a way to start the day! Hotel offers refined meeting space, perfect to discuss why all amenities promised appeared to be a mirage!
Let's have a round of applause for the disappearing breakfast and nonexistent amenities, shall we? Great show!

We hit up the College Football Hall of Fame and were shouting like crazy fans. Then, we strolled through Martin Luther King Jr's digs. The 24-hour lobby was super handy for our all-night chills.
More happening nightlife nearby would've been ace for us party animals.

The front desk staff was friendly and provided swift check-in. The hotel's free airport shuttle to the Domestic Terminal was convenient for quick transfers. Despite some maintenance issues, the proximity to the airport was a key advantage that I appreciated.
The rooms were dirty and poorly maintained, with trash on the floor upon arrival. The bathrooms had leakage problems, and the pool area was not well-kept.

we had a comfortable stay at Howard Johnson. the manager and day desk clerks were super friendly and made us feel welcomed. the breakfast was great and the replacement clerk made every effort to ensure our satisfaction. the living area was relaxing and we appreciated the provided amenities such as the refrigerator and microwave. the WiFi was also a bonus.
Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like 😞

the hotel is located close to the airport, and the shuttle service is good. the view of the planes coming in and taking off from the airport is amazing. the wifi is great, and the room amenities are handy. the front desk staff are very pleasant, and the food is great.
